Miami - Art Basel Unveiled

Join Gina and friends... on a two full day
of Mosaics, Art, and a personal introduction into Miami Art Scene! Art
Basel's sister show is held in Miami Beach annually, this is the time
that art connoisseurs from throughout the globe descend on our tropical
paradise to experience what is happening in the International Art World.
Book early as accommodations become hard to find !
We will visit Art Miami, have lunch at a trendy cafe in the Design
District, meet with artist friends and collectors. The second day we
will go to South Beach, for Art Basel, as well as visiting some of the
many satellite events. We will have a late lunch on the beach... maybe
with a few moments to relax by the shore! This is the place to see and
be scene! There are parties abounding, throughout the city, and you
know when artists play.... anything can happen!!
This will be two full days and evenings...
ISTANBUL - Mosaics & Mysticism

Join Gina and friends on a Magical, Mystical
Tour of Istanbul! A grande adventure into another world, full of
intrigue incredible history, and Mosaics! This was the capital of the
Byzantine world, "Constantinople" and also the head of the Roman Empire.
From the Grande Bazaar to the Blue Mosaic, Agia Sofia, and the Mosaic
Museum, we will be straddling two continents Europe and Asia.
Art of the Italian Lifestyle
May 25 - June 3, 2011
Andiamo! Let's go to Italy, and savour the
art of the Italian lifestyle! The mosaics, food, wine, and attitude
towards life. There is much to be learned here. This year we will be on
an amazing trip... Meeting in Rome... Visiting the Vatican studio, and
seeing where the Roman mosaic style flourished! Then on towards Sicily,
the “Olde World” where we will see mosaics from another era,
with influences from the Roman Empire, as well as African, Norman, and
Arabic stylings. We will have a hands on workshop here in our seaside
paradise. Then off to Florence... we will be joined by master Pietra
Dura and Micro Mosaic Artists, and feel the influences of this city of
the Rennaisance!
BARCELONA & COSTA BRAVA - THE MAGIC CONTINUES!
June 6 - 12, 2011
This will be a truly inspirational voyage to Spain. Visit the land which
nutured such artists as Dali, Miro, Picasso... and one of our favorite
fathers of Architectural Mosaic "Gaudi"! This city and the Costa Brava
is magically inspirational! We will walk in the footsteps of these great
artists, and get to know this culture like a native! A contemporary
mosaicist dream!
